"Roughly an hour into taking these pictures on the roof of a parking garage, 2nd time of the day, an Indian security guard comes running up to us screaming to stop taking the pictures and delete all the images in my camera! He insisted in his broken accent that we delete every image we took of the city, give our information, and leave the garage. We told him we will comply with one of the three directives, leave. As the guard was arguing with my friend, I removed my memory card and hid it carefully on my person, inserted a new card and took junk pics, just in case.

The guard, knowing he was losing this one, insisted we have to wait for his supervisor so she can tell us to delete the pictures. We told him we were not waiting, that we now realize that this was private property and would gladly leave the premise. He frantically followed us tot he bottom level begging us to wait for his supervisor to terrorize us even more. We told him to calm down, we were not waiting, and left.

At the car, his large southern supervisor comes running across the street to start the whole thing over. We assured her we would not delete the images, and they were perfectly legal. She insisted they are illegal images since they were taken from the roof of the garage she guards...huh! The whole incident became amusing to me and my friend, to watch the supervisor lose every piece of ground she thought she had, and dejectedly run off realizing she no longer (actually never had) the upper hand.

She ordered her Indian subordinate (who I could tell had sympathy for us) to take Kevin's license plate, and this whole issue will be moved to the next level...HA!

So, if in Charlotte, please visit this garage to take pictures of the beautiful city skyline! " (On your own risk)
