Taken with a Yashica Samurai 4000iX camera which uses the now obsolete APS film. The film here is extremely expired and poorly stored (room temperature for several years including the heatwave of 2022). This Truprint branded film was the only APS I had available at the time, it is ISO 200 40 exposures. Unlike with 35mm film, it's not practical to shoot a few test frames then develop them, so I had to use all 40 exposures not knowing whether there would be anything to show for it. As expected, the results are dire from a technical viewpoint, but have a certain "charm".
UPDATE - it dawned on me that the negatives might be dense because the bleach component of the blix had become exhaused. I re-blixed the film, and it was a lot easier to scan, and the results were technically an improvement.
