I drove in pea size hail @ 0430 to get to airport for the Honor Flight. DC was nice, then it got freaking hot. They use this disturbing color purely to keep track of us.

Went on an Honor Flight a week ago. This was our reception at Dulles Airport on our way back home. The experience was extremely humbling. These people came out at 2100 hours just to cheer us on. Another similar scene when we arrived, Mind you the morning was the same.
For those wondering what happened to me, it started with replacing my right knee in May of 2022. Then I was advised I had been exposed to Agent Orange. Another month and my brother died. A mere 2 months later discovered I had liver cancer. Stick a fork in me.
They killed my active tumor by inserting really tiny balls coated with Yttrium 90, about 3 million of them. I asked what happened to those. Oh. they just sit there turning into zirconium, forever. My liver is full of really teeny, tiny rocks. It's been nothing but a party since. I'm just now snapping out of it.
