Aki et moi avons passé 8 jours à 20m sous l'eau pour l'expédition NEEMO de la NASA, il n'y aura donc aucune surprise pour nous. Il est incroyablement compétent, toujours de bonne humeur et c'est tout simplement fantastique de travailler avec lui, je ne pouvais pas imaginer un meilleur coéquipier. Il a participé à la conception du superbe vaisseau spatial japonais HTV et du module japonais Kibo. Si quelque chose ne va pas côté matériel, je demanderai à Aki de trouver une solution ! Notons qu'il aura volé à bord de 3 véhicules spatiaux différents, ce qui est un exploit rarement égalé.
Aki and I spent eight days 20 m underwater for NASA's NEEMO expedition so there will be no surprises for us. He is incredibly competent, always in a good mood and just fantastic to work with, couldn't think of a better crew mate. He actually helped design the magnificent Japanese supply spacecraft HTV and the Japanese module Kibo. If anything ever goes wrong on the hardware side, I will be asking Aki for a solution! And he will have flown on three different space vehicles too, a rare feat.
