Long ago in the war ravaged Midlands, mechanical clockwork walkers ruled surprime as a fighting weapon. Hand on hand combat in the south was considered barbaric in the northern regions of the land, this fighting style was preferred as they thought it was more civilised to not get their hands dirty in the field of battle.

Clockwork and advanced mechanics were on the rise in the land. Intricately made machines crafted by geniuses were eventually taken advantage of. Using them to fight.
In return for goods this technology was bought to different tribes who wanted to use it in their battles as a major advantage. Eventually to fight back the remaining tribes and clans had no choice but to buy into this technology too, and so the walker wars began.

After hundreds of years the technology of the walkers was beginning to become to expensive as resources for them became scarce. Only a few walkers remained among the clans. As hand held weapons from the south became easier to manufacture and far more efficient on the field of battle, the walkers slowly depleted in numbers until even less were left in the northern regions of the Midlands. This is one of the final walker battles ever. Soon after the walkers were left destroyed and were left to rot, and walkers were never heard of again.

Hope you all liked my story, I think it`s an improvement over the one from the first round.

I think some people may have found this a bit obscure for a medieval contest, but nowhere in the rules did it say you had to stick to the history books, so I went ahead and did what I could with this idea.

Aside from the walkers themselves a main focus with this was the rock work, I tried to do a bit of experimenting with this one, and eventually it came out pretty good.

The castle is probably the most complex in terms of design than anything I`ve done before, particularly on the battlements. I finally got a round to using minifigure legs in this MOC, and I think it turned out pretty good.
On the first floor of the castle is a small dining area. Since this is a cold themed MOC I decided that an inside with wooden planks similar to a cabin would suit quite nicely.

The walkers I wanted to look a bit spider like, a large body with rather spindly legs. I think the 3 legged walker was inspired by one of the latest hero factory set, the evo walker. I was originally going to make both of them cannons (originally titled 'The Cannon Walkers') but I decided on the second one to put a crossbow, just because I thought a bit more variety wouldn`t do any harm.

Around the back of the model I didn`t really make much of an effort, considering it`s not really something you`d be looking at, but it doesn`t look too shabby as far as mostly unseen places go.

And finally I should address the landscape. It consists of something rather uncommon which is dark green grass. I guess I thought that since it`s a snowy place the grass would be a lot darker. I think the snow is good enough, it`s the best I could do with what I had. There is also a path that comes in from two directions merging and ending up at the castle door.

That`s it from me. Fraser if you win I wish you luck against your next opponent.
Don`t forget to like this, it really gives me a boost when you do. And as always, Brick OUT!
