This perspective includes the cockpit geometry, which was pretty fun. The glass is from opposed screens, wrapped and blocked-out in wedge plates, and banked down 18deg relative to the body.

I cancelled a huge, epic scenery build that I had worked months at in summer. And so I wanted to do something small and a real modell again. Enough of scenes with endless view. The buildings are solid and I also decided not to clean the background and no fancy light. Maybe I will do another shot with a clear background as I had only really dark day light. The water is actually green and dark green. Somehow my camera is not able to capture those colours the way they are.

There are a couple of building tricks here. If you are interested in something don't hesitate to ask.

You might notice that the texturing style is not as detailled as in my last half timbered buildings. I would assume that I used half the number of parts per cm³. I didn't try to use the smallest parts possible this time. So I could take advantage of larger parts like arches. I used tons of arches here. The whole tower is made of them as well as the left bay.

Though the build is still quite technical (it's still me) my focus was more on forms this time. I used round forms whereever possible: the roof, the wooden staircase, the tower, the left bay, the bridge.

ForlornEmpire inspired me to do that roof. He made a hilarious roof in summer using doors. I didn't ave those doors but I thought, I could use those traffic signs instead. Looks different but it works.

Check my Instagram account for techniques tutorials.
I also uploaded a few pics on my second account.

This is the Heavenly Strike. It was a blast to design.

I took inspiration on the paint job from Macross’ Valkyrie YF-30 Chronos, and I lifted the name from Ghost of Tsushima.

The model took a ridiculously long time – I completed 90% in summer, then waited six weeks for Lego to release newly-colored parts I didn’t end up using/liking, then became consumed with the stand, and then…, and then… But now it’s final!
