Our car was over there. Where the smoke was coming from. Where the fire was. Occasionally we could see a giant fiery black cloud rise directly skyward on the other side of that mountain. No matter, we simply went east instead of west. It turned out fine. Nobody died, nobody got hurt. And a nice Romanian man drove us 60km out of his way back to the car. Roads don't go to the top of mountains. They go around them. People on the other hand, we can simply walk right over them.
