There used to be a website "InTheBathDotOrg" who invited people to post photographs of themselves in the bath on the website.
So this is a tribute to that website and the Internet Culture of uploading pictures in private places!

Self Portrait while on a recent trip to US. Taken during the flight, I considered the current state of UK society and the profound influence that the US has on the UK.

It seemed that, with Western economies heading towards recession and the answer to many of our problems being seen as computerised and invasive, a portrait of my private space being invaded by prying eyes was very apt.

Another problem with CCTV and the media is the state of accepting recorded images as the basis of unerring fact. It may also be the case that our obsession with media may be providing a stage for those who wish to have their unsavoury acts recorded and disseminated.

The "paranoia", or more accurately, anxiety that invasive media causes is problematic. When stress manifests its self in physical or mental ill health, we lose out both personally and economically.

I used some editing on the original photograph "Car". This one is being used as a promotion for my art at a gallery, with some info about myself.

It's come out a bit red/pink, but it should knock people in the eye and get me noticed!!
