Comments:
My Tamron 70-300 is nicknamed "Safari lens" for its long reach - almost as much as my old trusted Panasonic FZ28. IQ is decent (Pentax kit lens level - which is not bad). Focus is noisy but decently fast. The front element rotates though so using polarizer is a pain. Overall, I don't think I'll be extensively using the lens (like my Pentax 35 limited or the Sigma 8-16) but for its price, I would like to have one tugged away in case a need comes up.
