Just found this retro viewfinder off ebay for cheap. The seller took the viewfinder off his rangefinder and sell them separately. I of course appreciate that because I do not want another rangefinder body.
I believe Taron was a brand back in the 50s or 60s (before I was even born so pardon me if I get the years wrong. :D). So putting it on my E-P1 is just about right in term of retro look.
There are 2 sets of marking, one for 35mm and 1 for 75mm lens. However, if you push the viewfinder all the way in to the hotshoe slot,, the view of the 35mm matches my Panasonic Lumix 20mm f1.7 very well.
The coating is a bit off (well, half a century old stuff, can't be perfect) so using indoor with yellow-color lighting is a tiny bit hard but I'm not buying this to be used indoor. It's more for outdoor when the LCD can be somewhat hard to see. And considering the price I got it for, not much to complain about.
