Sumela Monastery, Trabzon, Maçka district, Altındere valley located within the boundaries (Ancient Greek name: Panagia) streams of the western slopes of the Land (Ancient Greek name: Mela) is a former Greek Orthodox monastery and church complex on the hill at 1,150 m above sea level, the full name of Panagia Sumela (Παναγία Σουμελά) or the Theotokos is Sumela.
Sumela Monastery is located in the provisional World Heritage List.
