Besides fishing, swimming, lobster hunting at night, snorkeling or diving, flying kites is an other great activity in Fakarava; Trade winds are always constant and very stable : North East 20 knots 24 hours a day.. A bit too strong for the “Holyman” with over 15 kg pull this day, but ideal to try to make some KAP of its flight; however autoKAP is not always very precise and I was way too high for a close up ( and also very cautious not to get too close as with such a pull on the line, the smallest friction could have had some severe consequences…).
