Unfortunately there was not enough wind to lift our rigs, but the wonderful thing about meeting kite flyers and KAPers around the world is that the exchange is very rich and I always find the same spirit. These guys are retired, but they are having fun, flying their kites.... I emailed them when i arrived in Tokyo, they came and pick me up the next day at my hotel and asked me to join them during the week.... unfortunately I am also in Tokyo for business !!!

Hazegawa san and his minimalist AutoKAP rig. It's basically a 2 RPM gear box motor, 3 AAA bateries and a pendulum, very simple but very efficient.
