We stopped on the way up to Algonquin Park at Burleigh Falls, an old favorite spot where William Self would take photos while his grandfather fished.

We saw these snow devils spinning on the lake during our hike of the Beaver Pond trail at Algonquin Park. We watched them dance across the frozen lake for a minute or two before we kept moving to stay warm.

We hiked up a ways along the Beaver Pond Trail and got this lovely view of one of the lakes (with a beaver hut in the middle of it).

William ventured out on the frozen pond to test out the ice and get take some shots. I pulled out my infrared camera and took his picture.

One of the spots we took a break from hiking on the Beaver Pond trail and took a moment to enjoy the beauty surrounding us. This is the pond that William Self went out for a walk on.
