I'm back from two weeks of camping at Killbear Provincial Park.

This fellow embodies the great time I had. He's sitting on a bench surrounded by granite and trees, just off the shores of Georgian Bay enjoying the sunshine.

Digital Infrared image.

On a clear night with little wind I went out onto the rock at Killbear Provincial Park, looking up at the windswept tree on sunset rock.

This was before the peresid shower last week so I didnt catch any shooting stars.

~5 minute exposure, F4, iso400 on a moonless night.

The best destination for watching sunset at Killbear is Sunset Rock. I camped close by and saw a number of nice sunsets like this one from the rock. This is what getting away from the city is all about.

A young man jumps off the side of Harold's Point at Killbear. This is the highest point to jump from, at least 33 feet up. I gave this brave (?) fellow my card afterwards so I could email him a copy.

You can see the height of the rock in my next photo.
