I took my first Porter flight this week and got a great view of the city as we flew into the island airport.

Infrared photo taken from a bombardier q400 turboprop plane.

I think this is the Lafarge Cement factory and mine east of Toronto. Does anyone know?

Seen from a Porter Turboprop cruising along the shore of Lake Ontario. Infrared photo.

I trekked over to Montmorency Falls just outside Quebec City during my trip. They're taller than Niagara falls (but not nearly as wide).

I shot this from the suspension bridge that goes across the falls. This is a stitch of 3 frames shot on a 14mm sigma lens and stitched with PTGui.

I had the privilege of enjoying a sunset from a beautiful 19th floor corner suite at the Quebec City Hilton. It had wrap-around windows overlooking the city giving me a 240 degree view.

From left to right you can see the Vieux Port, Vieux Quebec and the Chateau Frontenac, the Citadel and the Parliament buildings.

This is a 8 frame panorama shot on a tokina 12-24mm lens. The panorama is just over 10000 x 4000 pixels - or 40 Megapixels. Stitched together with PTGui.
