This is my Canon SD870is point and shoot taking this timelapse.
The camera runs CHDK which provides a scripting language. A script is running to shoot a frame every 1.5 seconds which I later assemble into a timelapse in HD.
Since the camera has no viewfinder the LCD doesn't turn off, draining battery life. You can see the workaround here, a old headphone cord plugged into the video-out port to turn off the lcd.
The camera sits on my trusty 15 year old Ultrapod II, strapped onto a handy root so I could be close to the water.

A 7-frame panoramic image taken from the Lagoon at Bon Echo using a circular polarizer.
This was a popular fishing spot. The tree has a few bobbins and lures hanging from its branches to those who fish underneath it.

I took this 9-frame infrared panorama at the Narrows in Bon Echo Provincial Park.
The trees growing on the side of the rockface are close to 1000 years old, growing only millimeters a year.
This is a close to 180 degree view. It rained about 10 minutes after this photo.
