I was waiting for some friends to meet me at midnight and took some video as the clock struck midnight during Nuit Blanche. City hall was packed with people enjoying Stereoscope. I'm really glad they opened the 2nd level so you could get right up underneath it.

I took this shot to capture the masses of people teeming around City Hall during Nuit Blanche. I was glad they opened up access to the mezzanine and podium areas so you could get a great view.

Stereoscope is still going, sunset to sunrise until sunday morning. Check it out if you missed it during Nuit Blanche.

This was taken Friday night at Stereoscope at City Hall.

The video is composed from 483 photographs taken using a script running under CHDK on my Canon SD870. The script is meant for sunsets, adjusting exposure as the light drops. The Blinkenlights had a unique effect on the exposure system.

One nice thing was seeing the various animations and patterns. At Nuit Blanche it was constantly being used for gaming. Although I have to admit, I did play a few games of space invaders on the east tower after this shot, it was a lot of fun.
