This was taken from the Narrows at Bon Echo Provincial Park over the civic holiday long weekend. I'm just starting to experiment with using timelapse photography, and what a lovely place to do it.

I'd left the tripod in the camp, so this was taken with me sitting beside it keeping it from falling into the water.

I went camping at Bon Echo over the long weekend. This was my favorite spot to visit so it's getting posted first. I have many photos to come from this beautiful spot, 3 hours away from Toronto.

It took me about an hour to hike up from the lake. This is a 7-frame panorama shot from the final lookout from on top of Mazinaw Rock in Bon Echo Provincial Park. The final image is 23 megapixels and the 50 inch wide printer at Toronto Image Works is starting to beckon me.

Infrared panorama stitched and processed with ptgui and photoshop. It is 161 degrees wide.

A 10 minute exposure taken after midnight in Bon Echo provincial park. I laid beside the camera and looked at the millions of stars in the darkness while this exposed. The trees were in darkness but picked up some flashlights of wandering campers.

Its not my usual forte but I enjoyed the moment.

Nikon D70s, 50mm Nikkor @ F2.8.

Taken on my final hours in Bon Echo Provincial Park, the sun streaming through the trees and reflecting off smoke from our last campfire before we packed up.

I enjoyed my time there so much, I booked 5 days off to go camping this coming weekend on the shores of Lake Huron. The sun sets over the lake there.
