A 30-second exposure of some neat icicles on the shores of Lake Ontario, near the Waterworks on the beach in Toronto. I used a ND400 filter to enable a long exposure to blur the gentle waves of the lake.

I took this infrared photo while my other camera was doing the long exposure work.

It's an interesting counterpoint to the long exposure image. It was an overcast day, not really the best conditions for infrared, but it gives a very moody image I find.

I visited my old favorite haunt, the RC Harris Filtration plant, otherwise known as the Palace of Purification this weekend. The grounds are still under construction.

I shot this 5-photo panorama from the end of a icy pier with my IR-converted D100.

This is one of my favorite spots to wander around, the grounds of the RC Harris Filtration Plant, otherwise known as the Waterworks. The grounds have been closed for over two years while construction was taking place and it just re-opened. I'm a sucker for Art Deco, what can i say?

This is a 7 frame panoramic photo taken with my infrared-converted D100 and stitched together with PTGui and Photoshop. I'm standing on a hill that is sloping downwards.

Best viewed full size. Really.

You dont see me post colour photos often, but when I find a colourful scene i'll use it. I especially like using the camera for long exposure photos in nice spots like this one at Ashbridges Bay. Thats a waste treatment plant on the other side of the lagoon.

This is a 158 second exposure, F/22 with a ND400 filter. It's processed with HDR techniques using a single raw file.
