My friend and I hiked out about 20 minutes past the beach to get to this spot, the farthest out point in the park with a great view of Georgian Bay. There were interesting rock formations in all directions. The textures here really caught my eye though.
This is an infrared photograph that I took while balancing on a rock. Most of the rocks are covered in seaweed which reflects infrared light.

I took this panorama at sunset on beach 1 of Awenda Provincial Park over the labour day weekend. It's a 5-photo panorama I stitched with the help of pt-gui. The photo was taken with my IR-converted D100 and 18-70 lens.
I've been humming and hawing about whether to crop my shadow out of the image. I dont usually put myself in images, but here I am.. what do you think?
