My friend and I hiked out about 20 minutes past the beach to get to this spot, the farthest out point in the park with a great view of Georgian Bay. There were interesting rock formations in all directions. The textures here really caught my eye though.

This is an infrared photograph that I took while balancing on a rock. Most of the rocks are covered in seaweed which reflects infrared light.

This photo really wants to be seen Large on Black

I took this panorama at sunset on beach 1 of Awenda Provincial Park over the labour day weekend. It's a 5-photo panorama I stitched with the help of pt-gui. The photo was taken with my IR-converted D100 and 18-70 lens.

I've been humming and hawing about whether to crop my shadow out of the image. I dont usually put myself in images, but here I am.. what do you think?

This is from one of the hikes I took, a 5km loop around Kettle's lake. This is what the trail looks like in Infrared.

a 5 photo infrared panorama taken after a 5km hike to this bridge looking over Kettle's lake in the middle of Awenda Provincial Park.

As the winter sets in, I'm getting to my backlog of images from this summer.
