Possibly the most recognizable tree in Ontario, the beautiful windswept pine at Sunset Rock in Killbear Provincial Park. I've taken many photos of this tree, but I think this is my favorite angle, looking over Georgian Bay. Infrared photo.

Music Park is one of my favorite urban parks. I was eyeing up this spot to take a panorama from earlier and came back when the sun was setting to take the images.

This is a stitch of 8 photos to get the angle of view I wanted - the stones embedded in the grass all the way up to the hanging bits of tree I was sitting under.

One of the advantages to stitching is you get extra resolution in the final image. This file is 16.7 megapixels and was taken using my IR-modified D100 which lets the grass and foilage spring to bright life.

Best viewed Large. Really.

My favorite tree at Killbear, possibly the most famous tree in Ontario. It sits on Georgian Rock, the best spot in the park for watching sunsets over Georgian Bay.

Infrared image. Best enjoyed large.
