George is our little rescue dog, who is around 2+ yrs, who we have had for just over 12 months.

He is in appearance and attitude very much a terrier, but we think he had many fathers. So far we can identify in him Bedlington, Patterdale, Westie, Cairn, Border & long-haired Jack. But his favourite pastime is sitting and observing, and is more of a sighthound than our other dog, and George's best friend - Ruby, our 6 year old Saluki/Greyhound. They are an odd couple, but are inseperable.

George looking out at the fields and moors above Gayle & Hawes in the Yorks Dales.
From here we have seen foxes, hares, rabbits, grouse, pheasant etc. But, when we went to see what was keeping George so enthralled, we found that the farmer had moved his ewes down from the higher ground, and one was giving birth just the other side of the fence.
