The Common Myna bird is also known as the Indian Myna bird which are native to Asia. They have quite a lot of different calls which include croaks, squawks, chirps, clicks and whistles and quite often the bird fluffs its feathers and bobs its head while making these calls. The bird will screech warnings to its mate or other birds if a predator approaches or when it decides to fly off. These birds are believed to mate for life, also they appear to breed throughout much of the year depending on their location, and they build nests in holes in trees or walls. They lay around 4 to 6 eggs and the incubation period is 17 to 18 days, they fledge when they are between 22 to 24 days old. They feed on insects, crustaceans, reptiles, small mammals, seeds, grains and fruits, it is also a cross pollinator of flowers. The photograph was taken in Thailand.
