Looking directly south from the Antelope Island causeway. Salt Lake City, Utah is barely visible.

There is never a bad sunset when you're on Antelope Island. Even with fierce winds, sparse clouds, and billions of bugs, there is color and plenty to see.

It was good to be back after a three month absence. More to come...

Kind of a crazy day today. I'm having one of those weeks where I just feel like I can't catch my breath. Tomorrow doesn't appear that it will be any different. That's good though, right? How boring would life be if I was bored, you know?

I hope you're all well and as unbored as I am.

This is the companion to this shot that I posted a few days ago. This canyon, and the fun curve in the road, are just upstream from Bridal Veil Falls. The sheer rocks walls in this canyon are amazing. Again, the camera does it no justice. You have to see it to understand the magnitude of it all. That rock face is over 400 feet tall.

It's been years since I've seen these falls. Even so, they still amaze me. All 400 feet of them.

Bridal Veil Falls is located about 15 miles outside of Valdez, Alaska, on the Richardson Highway. Today they were accompanied by rain, mist, and a bunch of very cool clouds.
