After the flood of 1923 drastic measures had to be taken to eradicate the nutria and snake population within the halls of Manigotapi High School. Great Uncle Adriano J. Peg, member of the school board and a local gangster, suggested a hit squad of girls armed with Swiss target rifles. School Board President pro Tem Margaret Livingston poo pooed this suggestion but failed to return to the meeting after a short break. A vote was taken in her absence and the measure was passed unanimously.

Great Uncle Adriano J. Peg became the coach of the Manigotapi High School Nutria Extermination Squad for the three years it was in existence. In 1926 the squad was disbanded due to lack of competitors at neighboring schools and the coach wanting to expand activities into explosives and Kung Fu. The Catholic nuns in charge of the parochial school would not tolerate what they saw as an opposing religious practice in their hallways.

Three years were enough however, as Great Uncle Adriano J. Peg drew from the ranks of graduating sharpshooters to form his Deadly Viper Assassination Squad.
