After the Marmosets cut into their monkey business, Maurice, always the impulsive one, advocated a brutal street blitz of the monkey wrench treatment. His older and wiser brother, however, felt that conservative action involving stealth and cunning would be more effective and less likely to draw unwanted attention.
In the end, they compromised and extracted revenge in an abandoned warehouse outside of town. But Maurice wanted the Marmosets to know who hit them. His refusal to conceal his identity led to him having to cut a deal with the District Attorney, again. The Boss was not pleased.

Maurice often sat in Dr. Schnieder's waiting room just to peruse the National Geographic magazines and contemplate the art on the walls. He never suspected the Freudian psychoanalist's office had closed circuit monitoring and the staff was observing closely.

Reggie Kray and his twin brother Ronnie Kray were the foremost perpetrators of organised crime in London's East End during the 1950s and 1960s. Early on, the pair became infamous for their criminal enterprises and the mayhem they caused. In 1952 they were called up for National Service with the Royal Fusiliers. They deserted several times, each time being recaptured. They were among the last prisoners to be held at the Tower of London. During this period, Ronnie, on the right, began to display symptoms of paranoid schizophrenia.
The Krays became involved in armed robberies, arson, protection rackets, violent assaults including torture, and the murders of Jack "The Hat" McVitie and George Cornell. In 1966 the Krays assisted Frank Mitchell aka "The Mad Axeman" in escaping from Dartmoor Prison.
The twins were finally arrested and imprisoned based on the efforts of Detective Superintendent Leonard "Nipper" Read. Both were sentenced to life imprisonment. Ronnie remained in prison until his death, but Reggie was released on compassionate grounds eight weeks before his death from cancer.
