Weymouth Town Bridge is a lifting bascule bridge in Weymouth, Dorset, England, connecting the formerly separate boroughs of Weymouth and Melcombe Regis. The bridge can be lifted to allow boats access to the inner backwater of Weymouth Harbour, known as Weymouth Marina. The bridge, opened in 1930, is the sixth to have been built across the harbour since 1597 and has been Grade II Listed since 1997. Today, the hydraulically-operated bridge is raised every two hours, 363 days of the year.

Victoria Tower
Castle Hill, Huddersfield, England.
Perched on Castle Hill overlooking Huddersfield, the tower was completed in 1899 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Queen Victoria's reign. The corner-stone of the tower was laid on 25 June 1898 by Mr John Frechville Ramsden and was officially opened by the Earl of Scarbrough on 24 June 1899. The walls of the tower are four feet thick at the bottom, tapering to two feet at the top. The tower was renovated in 1960 when the top seven feet were removed. It reaches the height of almost 997 feet above sea level.

I thought I would have a go at Timelapse photography, shooting this video from my back garden.

Details of how I created it below

1. Camera Settings
Manual mode, ISO100, F/5 Aperture, 1/4 sec shutter speed
16x9 ratio in-camera crop
Lee Little stopper filter (6 stops)
Lee 0.6 ND grad filter (for the sky)

2. Interval timer set on the Fuji X-T2 camera, shooting every 4 seconds for 999 images

3. All images processed in Lightroom, and exported to an MP4 video file in the Slideshow module

This a video compilation of my Leeds in Polyptych project from 2013.
The accompanying soundtrack is the song 'Rise' from the album Smokers Delight, by the artist Nightmares on Wax.

For one year starting back in January 2013, I created one weekly polyptych photographic composition of Leeds.
Originally, a polyptych was a religious piece of art on a church altar which had four or more hinged panels, with each panel displaying a relief or painting.
I took this artistic concept and used it as a vehicle to present a themed photographic series of portraits of the city centre of Leeds in England where each photo will consisted of a series of photographs all of which shared a common idea.
This project was a personal portrait of Leeds, and showed the city in all its forms from the grand architecture of buildings from the last century to the small details of everyday objects found on its modern day streets.
