This is a South Texas speciality, a long billed thrasher. I found this one in the shadows and moving quickly through the brush at the Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge. It looks very much like a Brown Thrasher but the face is grayer and the eye is a brilliant orange.

Esta especie es una especialidad del sur de Texas, un cuitlacoche de pico largo. Lo encontré moviéndose rápidamente por las sombras de los matorrales densos del Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge. Se parece mucho al cuitlacoche rojizo pero su cara tiene más color gris y su ojo es un anaranjado brillante.
