A grapevine in the Bolgheri area in the centre of Tuscany, Italy.

The Bolgheri wine is famous for it's delicious wine, made with grapes originating in France. The cabernet sauvignon, merlot and cabernet franc are examples of grapes that excel in the sunny, dry and little windy climate of the region, in combination with the soil of the area.

Therefore the region has DOC regulations, which means Denominazione di origine controllata. The regulations require a certain standard from wines within a specific region and are there to keep the wines of that region on a high standard. It prevails the downgrade of wines from that area, by only allowing top wines to represent that area.

This picture is taken near the town of Castagneto Carducci.

The lovely little Tuscany town of Volterra. Taken from the tower of the city hall, the Palazzo dei Priori.

Taken over the northwestern part of Volterra, the Chiesa dei Santa Giusto e Clemente is clearly visible against a dreamy backdrop of the Tuscan landscape.

Explored! Highest position: 273rd of Tuesday, March 2, 2021 (reached this mark on Wednesday March 3, 2021).

In the winter of 2021, the weather was cold. So cold, that the many waterways in the Netherlands froze.

Also the small river Vlist, which passes the Bonrepasmolen, near Schoonhoven.

Toronto, the fourth largest city in North-America (after Mexico-City, New York and Los Angeles) with it's 5,9 million people living in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

The skyline of the city is dominated by the CN Tower, until 2007 the tallest free-standing structure.

Also visible, besides the CN Tower is the Rogers Centre, home of the Toronto Blue Jays, playing in the American League of the MLB (baseball).

Furthermore, lots of skyscrapers are looking out over Lake Ontario, with headquarters of banks, Insurance companies etc.

This photo is taken from the Toronto Islands, which were part of the mainland at one point, but a severe storm seperated the peninsula, forming little islands which are leisure areas nowadays.
