Went for a helicopter flight to the Grand Canyon to day. The size of it? You got to see it. It`s big.
We booked the flight from Norway. Mr. Santiago, the pilot talked us through the whole flight over the Nevada desert, Lake Meed and the Hoover Dam. After that we headed for the Canyon. Landed at the bottom, got our selves some food and Champagne. Awesome :-)))

Strong wind and 105F or 42 Celsius. Suits me fine :-))

To day I have walked The Strip and I find it hard to describe the size of what I`m seeing. I have always been told that everything is big in the US, and man, it that a fact! The MGM Grand is told to be the biggest hotel in the world. Dont know if that is share size or if it is beds, but it`s big, all right. Later tonight I`m going to see KÀ by Cirque du Soleil at the MGM Grand.

Enjoyed cold beers at the Venetian. This is also an gigantic hotel. Inside are all stores named in Italian, Venice is copied, with gondolas, men (and one woman) singing O Sole Mio at the back of the boat, famous places and houses. I`m not that familiar with Italy, but I think I recognized a few details also from Rome.

All elevators has a tv screen showing whats happening in Mandalay Bay. Theivery Corporation is playing the night we are leaving. Just my luck.
Just to mention a few of the other shows: Motley Crue, Janet Jackson, Mamma Mia, (the musical), Allan Jackson and New Kids On The Block.

Well, this is asked for. This is the view from my hotel window. Mandalay Bay is grandiose. I guess you can see the pool/beach from the moon :-)) I am at THEhotel, or Tower Two. You see the old, 20 floor lower main building to the left. To the right you see the event center and the convention center.
If you look closely at the main building you see the reflection of the Luxor hotel. It`s pyramid shaped, black and have an gigantic light beam from the top.
