Chilliwack Lake is located 150km east of Vancouver off of Highway 1. Chilliwack Lake is an ideal spot for canoeing, kayaking, windsurfing, swimming, fishing and hiking. A wide sandy beach has stunning views on all sides as the ramrod-straight fir forest rises to ice fields and scissor-cut peaks. Chilliwack Lake Provincial Park is a pristine escape from city life that is characterised by a valley-bottom lake surrounded by old growth forests and bountiful sub-alpine and alpine ridges to explore. Forty kilometers of trails provide opportunities for hiking, bird and wildlife viewing, and nature appreciation.
