If the mirror is reflecting nothing else but the reality, why does everything look different in it?
If the image in the mirror is just a moment of the past, how long ago was that moment?
Do these trees have roots in the sky of the past?
This week I found out that someone I know has never ever sent a letter or a postcard. A physical paper letter. By post. This might mean that "my" world is already reflected in a mirror, and that I probably stayed in the past on the other side. Maybe the "present time" that looks real for me is only an illusion in my mind, a reflection on the surface of the water.
Just a couple of days earlier a letter from Ukraine with plenty of postal stamps on it arrived in my letter box, on my side of the mirror. I opened it, and found a catalogue of Pavlovka ArtGallery's exhibition "Pavlovka Pinhole Fest '2023: The Mirror".
Here's my picture that I've sent to Kyiv last year for this exhibition.
