Excerpt from the Museum Guide: Designed by Canadian architect Raymond Moriyama who was inspired by the idea of a shoebox. The five-story structure combines state of the art artifact storage and exhibit space with dynamic and inviting plays of light and texture. Particularly impressive is the "floating" staircase and a dramatic wall of prismatic glass. The museum opened in 1995.

This pair of handmade, bespoke button boots reflects the infusion of erotically charged references in women's dress that emerged at the end of the 19th century. These boots were designed to look like a star kinged leg in a shoe.

Shown here are both adult and children boots. They are both traditional in design and feature embossed leather medallions.
