Queen Street Baptist Church at 57 Queen Street is sober and militant in appearance. Its stone walls lack a spire or tower, yet exude a sense of permanence and trust.

Path of Possibilities
Ilan Averbuch
Sculpture - 1988
Brock University
1812 Sir Isaac Brock Way St. Catharines
Part of the Lutz Teutloff collection. Lutz Teutloff is a German art collector who began acquiring a series of sculptures for Brock University starting in 1989. Teutloff came to Canada, and the Niagara region, as a result of the Cold War. Having collected contemporary art for many years, he sought a place to feature this work. Originally considering Niagara-on-the-Lake, but eventually deciding on the Brock University campus and its geographical location on the escarpment. Path of Possibilities, originally in front of Schmon Tower, moved to the nearby Cairn Cairns complex. This sculpture consists of crouching gazelles and tigers, resting on vertical curved beams with a stone 'pathway' above. It symbolizes the choices students face towards their futures.

Excerpt from stcatharines.ca:
The saw and grist mills were first established in the late eighteenth century by Duncan Murray and the Honourable Robert Hamilton. By the mid-nineteenth century, the area became known as “Reynoldsville” when Benjamin Franklin Reynolds purchased the mills from Peter Thomas. Reynolds owned and operated the mills for the next four decades, supplying the shipbuilding industry and local settlers with grains and flour.
The area's first power generating station, intended to supply power to the City of Hamilton, was established in 1898, which gave the neighbourhood its current name – Power Glen. The six homes on the north east side of Power Glen Road, which were built by the Power Company to house the workers of the generating station, also remain.
Twelve Mile Creek and the trail system in the valley, provide connectivity within the district and beyond. On the plateau lands, the tree-lined streets, period lighting and narrow winding road define the streetscape and give the neighbourhood a rural sense of place. These attributes lend themselves to the urban-rural setting of Power Glen, a village in the city that doesn't dominate over its natural setting.

1258 Lakeshore Road West
Schram-Gregory House
The Schram-Gregory House was built in 1790 (renovated around 1872) by Butler's Ranger Frederick Schram. The high gambrel roof and dormers are attributes of a Dutch Colonial style that was popular in the Hudson River Valley of New York State in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries and which enjoyed a revival in Ontario in the early decades of the twentieth century.
