This is a curtain falls along the Grindstone Creek, therefore it is also known as the Great Falls or the Grindstone Falls. It is called Smokey Hollow because there were a large number of mill sites surrounding the falls.

This is a terraced ribbon cascade waterfall with a height of 50 feet and a crest width of 10 feet. It is a difficult waterfall to photo as the fall is partly obscured by branches of the trees. Lucky it is spring and the leaves have not come out yet.
