Built during Qianlong (乾龍) and Jia Qing (嘉慶) of the Qing Dynasty. It covers a total area of 10,642.4 square metres, and the building area covers 4,176 square metres with 313 rooms, 6 large courtyards, and 20 smaller courtyards. From above, the design looks like the Chinese character of Double Happiness (囍). The film "The Red Lanterns" (大紅燈籠高高掛) was filmed here. It is famous for its stone and wood carving.
