Located on the west cliff of Jinxia Gorge, the temple was built more than 50 metres above ground in 491AD, with cross beams inserted into the rocks as foundation, and the rocks in the back as support. It honours Sakyamuni, Confucius, and Laotzu together as Buddhism, Confucianism, and Taoism are practised. It contains 40 halls and more than 80 sculptures.
