Animal shape carving can be seen. This carving is only about 2 metres from the water level, and almost inaccessible by land. Picture was taken from a boat during a boat cruise of Sai Kung.

At the northern coast of Tung Lung Chau. It was recorded in the Jiaqing edition of Xin'an Gazetteer during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911): "A dragon impression on rock is found at Fo Tang Men; the form of a dragon was carved on the rock's vertical surface". This carving, measuring 180cm x 240 cm, ranks as the largest rock carving known in Hong Kong.
The design, which believed to symbolize a dragon, consists of complicated and tortuous lines.
石刻有一百八十米乘二百四十米大,是在香港發現的最大石刻,由很多複雜線條組成,相信是代表龍的設計。

Tai Miu Wan is also known as Joss House Bay. This is the first rock carving with a date (1274) to commemorate the visit of government officials of the north and south Fat Tong Mun.

This rock carving is located now about 300 metres from the ocean. The pattern of the carving is similar to those found in the Bronze Age (3,000 years old).
This carving is actually very clearly marked, and is right next to the prison. From the bus stop, I just had to walk down a hill for about 10 minutes.
這個石刻,有很清晰的指示牌,是在監獄之旁,由巴士站只須步行下山十分鐘便到了。
