An oversized noise box, based on the intonarumori of the Italian Futurist Luigi Rusollo of the year 1914, was an instrument that shocked the local traditionalists of the Italian musical scene. It amplifies 4, in sound and pitch, with modified manual sirens, by means of a horn on each side, which each has a crank. It is intended as a playful instrument to get loud and ring the alarm. The pattern of the barrier tape is intended to invite people to break their usual pattern of behaviour, which is to stand back from the barrier, and use the noise box. The flickering typography should promote a critical and close look at security mania and to question the over-regulation of the authorities in the sense of humanity. Let's get loud! Make some noise!
