Vigeland Sculpture Park is filled with more than 200 sculptures in bronze, granite, and cast iron, the park displays the work of sculptor Gustav Vigeland (1869-1943). He was also responsible for the design and architectural outline of the park. The fountain has 6 giants carrying a vessel on their shoulders, with 20 groups of figures around the edge of the pool.
