Opened in 1923 under the Sanitary Department. It became the Kennedy Town Fire Station and renamed Western Fire Station in 1937. It was taken over by the Social Welfare department in 1986, and converted it into an elderly home. It is a well proportioned four-storey brick structure, with a symmetrical facade and windows with louvres above.
