The National Trust's managed arable fields on West Pentire Headland burst into colour in late spring. This image was taken during a brief spell of sunshine on an otherwise cloudy evening.

The view across Haytor Vale from the summit of Rippon Tor, captured about five minutes before sundown during a family walk earlier this winter. The light was quite incredible, and the pink tones in the sky more than made up for the lack of cloud. Processing involved darkening the sky, increasing foreground highlights and cloning a few vehicles from the road that winds its way around the tors. Thanks for viewing.

Burrator Reservoir as calm as a millpond, captured just before the sun disappeared below the horizon behind me on a late afternoon visit back in December. I used an ND grad to balance the lighting and cropped horizontally to give the image a panoramic look. Thanks for viewing.
