The church of St Michael on top of Brent Tor (330 m above sea level) captured on a winter’s morning. I used a tobacco filter to balance the lighting and add some colour to the sky. Thanks or looking.

The quayside on the River Weaver near Frodsham, Cheshire, captured after snowfall. This site is normally rather uninspiring but the snow, low winter lighting and use of a circular polariser made for a rather colourful and interesting image. Thanks for looking.

Spring snowflakes are so called because they normally flower in their native habitat after the snow has melted. I noticed these in Mainstone Woods while I was searching for wood anemones and managed to capture a few frames from a low pov before my knees began to creek. Thanks for viewing.

A field of oilseed rape near Telgruc-sur-mer in Brittany captured just after sunrise. The sparkling bokeh was the combined result of zooming in at 300 mm in the direction of the sun and dew on the flowers. Thanks for viewing.
