A late spring view across the fields of wild charlock towards Crantock and West Pentire. The sun made the occasional appearance through the thick cloud cover, adding to the mood and drama.

I was photographing the stumpy tree in the centre of the image when it started to rain heavily. As I headed back to the car for shelter I turned and noticed a rainbow emerging. I managed to catch a few frames with the Dart valley in the background before raindrops started to fog up my ND grad. Thanks for viewing.

I abandoned a photo-shoot of a local flower field one evening because of heavy rain. However, on my return I noticed the clouds disperse and headed for a vantage point I'm familiar with to capture the all important light. Thanks for viewing.

A double rainbow captured on western Dartmoor during a showery November afternoon. The bright green vehicle driving "through" the rainbow is a Moorland Fuel truck transporting heating oil to various isolated communities. Thanks for viewing.

Driving from Yelverton to Princetown, I spotted a rain shower heading my way. I pulled over and managed to get a few frames before my ND filter got covered with raindrops. I cropped some of the sky out to provide a sense of the openness and remoteness of this part of Dartmoor. Incidentally, Stephen Spielberg’s latest film, Warhorse, was filmed near here.
