A cheery field of sunflowers in east Devon captured a few years ago. I find it fascinating how these large flowers manage to twist and turn to face the constantly shifting sun.

While trying to capture hay bales near Trevone using my 70-300 mm lens wires kept getting in the way - so I ended up making them a focal point. A few pigeons decided to join in the fun here as well.

Haven't had chance to photograph the oilseed rape fields of south Devon this year, so here's an image from a previous season. I would have preferred a slightly different point of view but there were wires and poles all around. Nevertheless, I was pleased with the focal points afforded by the old barn and tree.
