This was the vista northwards from the summit of Brent Tor on a misty morning last week. I used my Sigma 70-300 mm lens to compress the layers of mist, and estimate that the most distant ridge was about 10 km away. Thanks for looking.

The village of North Brentor captured from the summit of Brent Tor as the morning mist began to lift. Again, the 70-300 mm lens came in handy here, allowing me to home in on and exaggerate distinctive elements of the landscape. Thanks for looking.

A thin finger of land is all that rises above thick mist in this early morning view from the summit of Brent Tor. I was amazed (shocked!) to see so much dust on my sensor when I loaded this image, so a fair bit of cloning and smudging was required. Thanks for viewing.

The bluebells are at their peak on the south-facing slopes of Holwell Lawn at the moment and I was fortunate enough to be able to make a quick trip there a couple of days ago before the weekend masses arrived.
