Well, it’s been the wettest June on record and it looks as though July is heading the same way. Not good for photography, but ideal for processing a huge backlog of photos taken earlier in the year. This image was captured from the summit of Menez Hom in Finistere back in April. I was happy with the crop but the bright mist in the distance where the sun was rising was a bit distracting. I’ve tinkered with the contrast and it now looks good on my monitor. Hope it does on yours! Thanks for looking.

The Bay of Kotor, Montenegro, is a spectacular 28 km inlet of the Adriatic Sea. This vertiginous view of the bay and small town of Kotor was captured in late autumn from one of the many hairpin bends along the road that winds up into the mountains to the east. Thanks for viewing

After posting a black and white image of AF Chapman in Stockholm a couple of years ago a few contacts asked to see it in colour. I uploaded the latter format and hid it away at the end of my photostream but thought I’d now share more widely a reworked (and replaced) colour version.

On the rare occasions that evening mist rolls into Plymouth Sound I try and get down to the waterfront to capture the atmosphere. Here, I arrived as the mist was retreating over Mount Edgcumbe and looked like candyfloss clinging to the hills. Thanks for stopping by.
