with the recent rain colouring the water the kingfisher seems a bit confused as he cant see any fish to catch,its probably the first time he has come across this situation.

i watched these two young kingfishers having a territorial dispute up and down the river for over an hour,sometimes they were quite savage to each other,although they could possibly be brothers,they certainly didnt get on very well
